The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It has mini fridge, tv, heater, hair dryer, electric kettle, mugs, towel, and free toiletries! The staffs are very polite and helpful. On top of that, great location! It’s in old quarter but not the chaotic side of it. It’s also very close to St. Joseph Cathedral. Lastly, i like how it is reasonably priced. Very very worth it! You won’t get this kind of service with a cheap price in most countries.

The hotel is perfectly located just behind the cathedral in the old quarter of Hanoi- there are plenty of local vendors for food and it’s an easy walk to the night markets and other local stores. You will love the busy activity around the hotel. There is no lift and you may have to walk up the spiral staircase to get to your room in higher floors- it’s not that bad but just request a room on a lower floor if you don’t want to or can’t do the stairs. The owner is friendly and helpful. Their son helps in the reception and we found using Google translate when talking to him easier as he has very little English.

The location is amazing, this hotel is a great value for the price. The air conditioning is very good. We enjoyed our stay here.

We spent 2 nights, the sheets were very clean and the toilet as well! We received bottled water everyday and they also change the towels daily. Downstairs there’s a nice coffee place where you can stay outside, and there is also a pub in case you want to have some drinks or food right next to you hotel. The walls were a bit old and grey but no mold smell. Overall it’s ok for 2 nights if you’re on a budget.

This hotel is perfectly located in the old quater, a block behind the cathedral and has plenty of local street vendors for food, convenience store just around the corner and just a short walk to the street markets. The hosts have basic English, Google translate helps if needed, they quickly attend to any needs and were friendly. The rooms are very generous in size, we upgraded to a balcony room which was lovely- we were able to sit on the balcony and watch the local people going about their daily activities and listening to the church bells chime throughout the day.

The location was very central but surprisingly quiet. Loved being so close to the church and hearing the bells. The team running this hotel were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Had all we needed, comfy beds, air con, good bathroom with plenty of hot water.

I loved everything about my stay Especen. It’s very close to the cathedral and Hoan Kiem lake, I’d say the location is just perfect. There are a lot of very good coffee shops and great dining options, my fave being Pho Bo Au Trieu. The room was huge, we had a balcony, a desk and a living area. The bed size was perfect too, it was a queen size(I think) and comfortable for sleeping. The water pressure and hot and cold bath was also great. The AC had a bit of an issue, it turned on and off intermittently, but it wasn’t a huge problem for us. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. I recommend this place 100%.

We have a family room with spacious balcony on the 5th floor. The room was big and bright. The furniture was older, beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was smaller. But the room have everything, that was escribed. Even TV with youtube :-) Location is great, it is in quiet alley, but close to all restaurants. Does not have an elevator, but for us, that was not a problem.

The room is spacious with a nice balcony. Everything is very clean and the shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. The owner is very friendly and super flexible. He let us leave our luggage at the hotel since we were returning. The location is perfect--right by the church and a 5 minute walk to the lake.
